Presidents Address

On behalf of ASPCR council, I take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy and successful new year 2013. We had many successful activities of ASPCR during year 2012. First Pigment meeting of Vitiligo Academy of India held on April 27-28, 2012 at Shimla , India was supported by ASPCR .

The 5th Asian Society of Pigment Cell Research Congress, New Delhi, India organized by Dr Vijay Kumar Garg and Dr Rashmi Sarkar concluded successfully on 4th November 2012 at Hotel Ashok. We were fortunate to have some of the most learned dermatologists and researchers and basic scientists in Pigmentary Disorders from India and globally engage the audience in interesting lectures and interactive sessions.

A dynamic web site of ASPCR was launched recently with regular Live feeds from website to the subscribed members. Please visit www.aspcr.org for more details. Vitiligo support group of India, VITILIGO SEHYOG started with initiative from ASPCR and Vitiligo Academy of India.

We are planning many more activities for year 2013 including ASPCR-ASDR meeting at Sydney (http://aspcr-asdr2013.org/), Advanced training in vitiligo surgery, setting up of pigmentary disorders research lab etc.
