Mentoring Programme

Join Our Mentoring Programme

Mentoring programs are essential for the professional development of physicians, aiding their personal and professional growth. Mentors help mentees by setting goals, providing learning and research opportunities, and contributing to patient care and the medical community. These relationships often lead to future research collaborations and increased job satisfaction for both mentors and their mentees.

In the Asia-Pacific region, pigmentary disorders are a major concern for dermatology patients. It’s important to inspire dermatology residents and trainees to focus on this area. The Asian Society for Pigment Cell Research promotes research and skill development in treating pigmentary disorders. Their program connects residents/trainees with leading dermatologists and offers observerships. The objectives are to foster positive mentoring relationships, raise awareness of pigmentary disorders, encourage scientific research, and build the society’s network and membership.
